When I look back over 12 years of articles that I have written for the CIO community, I tend to have the same feeling as when I see photos of myself from the 1980s. How could I have been so wrong?! But once in a while, I come across an article that still makes sense despite the years that have passed.

Herewith, I submit to you “How to Package Yourself for a New CIO Job.” Despite the vicissitudes of the economy (and the outdated corporate information of the people I interviewed) the advice in this article still seems to work, which is more than I can say for those acid wash jeans….
